一、 新西蘭教育基本情況

　　新西蘭的高等教育機構包括大學、理工學院和教育學院。到目前為止，新西蘭共有8所公立大學。這些大學開辦一系列的標準學位課程，其中包括理科、文科和近年來興起的商科和信息科學。

　　新西蘭的理工學院目前共有18所，提供各種職業及技術培訓，包括短期課程和三年制、四年制的專業學位、文憑、證書課程。部分理工學院和大學可以互相轉換學分(例如商科)，學生在理工學院所修某些課程學分為大學所承認，其畢業后入讀大學可以免修有關課程。

　　新西蘭大學的學位由新西蘭大學校長委員會下設的學術委員會批準，而理工學院及極少數私立高等教育學校所授的文憑由新西蘭資格認證局 (NZQA) 負責審批和監督。

　　新西蘭還有許多招收外國學生的私立培訓機構及語言學校。通過新西蘭資格認證局 (NZQA) 審批的學校名單可查閱NZQA網站：www.nzqa.govt.nz。
